The Veltins-Arena (Schalke Arena during EURO 2024) is the home of FC Schalke 04 and one of Germany's most modern football grounds. Opened in 2001, it features a retractable roof and a movable pitch. The ground hosted matches at the 2006 World Cup and again at EURO 2024.
